Electromagnetic theory is the core subject for the students of Physics. It is essential for the design and analysis of various devices and communication systems. In this course we shall work exclusively in the domain of classical mechanics. But don't forget these all classical formalism can be extended with unique simplicity to the other realms of Special relativity, Quantum Mechanics and Quantum Field Theory.

This is an introductory course on particle physics. Particle physics is the branch of physics which deals with fundamental particles and forces of our universe. We will start with the basics of the subject and try to cover topics such as symmetries, Dirac equation and its solutions, scattering cross section, decay rates of particles. We will also go through weak interactions, Higgs mechanism and briefly touch upon Salam-Weinberg model of Electroweak unification.

This course requires good understanding of classical mechanics, electrodynamics, quantum mechanics and mathematical methods. This is a tough subject one needs to do hard work to digest course material.
